In the case of hiring a DJ/artist, reaching out to them and getting back and forth if it involves several artists, and figuring out their availability is a long and tedious process that is not effective and takes a lot of time and effort. Moreover, in the wake of Covid19, gatherings around the world got restricted. The semi-professional music market cannot yet afford management to sustain their creative careers financially. A popular source of entertainment for people is clubbing, Artist's concerts, DJ nights, and Electronic Events. Even before Covid 19, there was no such platform for DJs to get their services booked or showcase their work.

Developed Solution:

• Web Application Where DJs Play will help create a customer-centric marketplace.

• This software platform will allow Artists and Agents to benefit from better bookings and better data.

• Users get customized tools that help them book faster and more efficiently. The beneficiaries are music makers, creators, and performers in the short-term and in the long-term the wider creative industries who need work booked and have the uncertain nature of their income reduced.

• Designed and developed a free Education Section, where YT content can be displayed and people can watch these playlists to educate themselves in the world of DJs and Music.

• Design and create a Microservice of Link Shortener for Agents/Agencies to showcase the services they offer and receive bookings from there.

• Revamped Artist and Agent account so they can register connections to artists.

• Developed these applications utilizing the Python Django Framework along with MySQL for data storage.

• Python scrappy is also used to web scrape artist data and build a great deal of data that is shown to people in the music industry.

Customized Django Admin panel as we incorporated third-party plugins like Mailchimp, SendGrid, etc.
